Here are some interesting finds on the Net. I plan to have a regular Friday post with a selection of interesting articles or videos for you. Just the kind of thing you might enjoy when you chill out at the weekend.

  • Here’s a fascinating TED talk: Neuroscientist Michael Merzenich looks at one of the secrets of the brain’s incredible power: its ability to actively re-wire itself. He’s researching ways to harness the brain’s plasticity to enhance our skills and recover lost function.

  • Simplicity Redefined: Be Open to What Emerges Leo Babauta at Zen Habits writes about reaching goals. Instead of setting goals, he follows a different path: “Don’t try to force outcomes — let them happen. Be open to what emerges.”

From next Friday onwards, Janice Hunter (I’m sure you remember her lovely guest post Staycation: How Far Away is Happiness?) will be presenting Goodlife Zen’s Friday Finds. She and I will find the juiciest stuff on the Net for you.

If there is something that catches your eye, please point it out in the comments and we’ll pick it up for next the next Friday Finds.

Enjoy!

You ask to “If there is something that catches your eye, please point it out in the comments and we’ll pick it up for next the next Friday Finds.”
I pasted links to Isha blog, You Tube and a link to Global Woman as resources for your use. GOT THE THIS SOUNDS LIKE SPAM>
Oh well your loss. It was sharing links.

This Australian native created a special spiritual guide called The Isha System. She describes The Isha System as the “secret to freedom”. She admits that it is the only way she knows to live. Following a period of personal crisis, Isha embarked on her new spiritual discovery, which has taken off very well. She travels around the world teaching The Isha System. Her system teaches mankind how to break boundaries internally and take an inner journey and how not to react to aggressive situations. Isha expects to lecture to 200 pregnant inmates at an Argentina prison in the near future. She has taught close to 60,000 people, including nuns, actors and rabbis. Isha is the author of the acclaimed book, Why Walk When You Can Fly?

Hi Ana! Thanks for the tips. I’m sorry your links were picked up as spam. If that happens again, don’t worry.
The system alerts me to comments which it thinks are spam. I’ll then manually override the ‘spam’ setting.
